- The Lower Colorado River Valley division of the Sonoran Desert is the largest and hottest of the seven Sonoran Divisions. Its mostly a mixture of
- ò lowland plains covered in creosote bush and white bur sage,
- ò gentle rocky slopes,
- ò and (over in the west) sand dunes.
-
- Saguaros and trees do occur in this region, but not so densely as in the richer and more diverse Upland desert.
